onderfully primitive dial of a 30-hour clock by John Ismay of Oulton
(nr Wigton), probably made in-house for his own use, whilst still serving his
apprenticeship under John Ogden of Bowbridge. Note how the chapter ring minute markings are so badly spaced out by Ismay. Major casting faults to both chapter ring and dial plate can also clearly be seen. Tis is crude work - but very interesting to see.
